We are seeking a Social Media Marketing Intern to join our team. The intern will be responsible for creating and implementing social media strategies to promote our wine bar and engage with our customers. The ideal candidate should have a passion for wine and a strong understanding of social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement social media strategies to promote the wine lounge, wine club, wine courses, and increase engagement with our customers
Create and curate content for our social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
Manage and grow our social media presence by monitoring trends, analyzing performance metrics, and identifying opportunities for improvement
Collaborate with the Beaker & Flask team to develop promotions, events, and campaigns that align with our brand and business goals
Respond to customer inquiries and comments on social media channels in a timely and professional manner
Assist with content creation for email newsletters, website, social media posts and other marketing materials as needed
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in social media marketing and wine and hospitality industries
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with social media platforms and tools, including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) is a plus
Passion for wine and knowledge of wine industry is preferred
Ability to work independently, multitask, and prioritize tasks effectively
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn
This is an unpaid internship position, but the intern will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in social media marketing and the wine industry. The internship can be done remotely or on-site, depending on the candidate's preference and availability.
